Rural Development Program
Rural areas of Nagaland need development in agriculture, health, and education; our organization helps in rural development. The society has also conducted some seminars and workshop training on weaving, knitting, tailoring, cookeries, handicrafts, etc. for rural women classes within the area. These classes are arranged with the help of different resource professionals in different trades that can be taken up for self-employment and self-sustenance. More than 150 beneficiaries have attended this program where the total expenditure incurred was about Rs. 1,44,140.00.

Community Welfare Program
Our organization arranges a Community Development Program to generate awareness about the problems in the community. The society has imparted training to farmers within the village area for the cultivation of horticulture crops which will be self-sustaining for the farmers that have become successful. The cultivation of crops is expected to bring output as well as feeds for livestock’s farming, these outputs will also be helpful in both the state department and the economical status of the country. The society has also distributed some piglets to farmers for rearing the fattening of production where the total expenditure was around Rs. 1,44,350.00.

Social Welfare & Women Program
For social welfare, the members of the Chophi Rural Development Society focus on road repairing, garbage cleaning, tree plantation, etc. During the session 2018-2019 under the report, our society has conducted various women welfare programs and awareness programs like HIV/AIDS, sanitation and health, safe drinking and water awareness, etc. These programs were organized in different villages of Dimapur district with the help of resource persons from respective fields where the total expenditure incurred was Rs. 1,54,300.00.
Educational Program
Education is an important matter which helps us to grow and gain knowledge; we provide educational training to the residents. Education is gaining more and more importance in today’s competitive scenario regarding not only in an academic way but also in other extracurricular activities. The society has distributed various educational kits and exercise books to poor kids within the area to encourage the community for the Promotion of educational standards of the schools and infrastructure development for generation of employment to the area and the district as well as the state. The emphasis is also given to working women’s accommodation and childcare programs in the area. This year the society has incurred a total expenditure of about Rs. 1,47,200.00.

Skill Development & Training Program
The society has conducted various skill development training programs under the Livelihood Income generation program. The society has conducted a Skill Development and Training program where one workshop was held on health care to make aware of the sanitation in around the areas of Dimapur town with the help of both the Council and committee members. This program was attended by more than 150 members and volunteers, the total expenditure was Rs. 1,51,650.00.
