Food Security

Nagaland is a district full of scenic beauty but there is less opportunity for jobs causing uncertainty for food. Food is the main concern of the rural areas of Dimapur as they don’t have a continuous job; providing food security is our motto. They do not even have the opportunity to grow their food due to the lack of proper fields and time. We help them by distributing seeds, advanced tools, and proper knowledge to get their food and empower them to improve their livelihood.

SHG Training

Self-help groups are the best association to solve the problems of poor people in rural areas by providing business ideas. Self-help groups are the best way to form an idea for a business. Many small banks give loans to start small businesses through a group. We are focusing on creating some small self-help groups who can take a loan from the bank and do business themselves. Our women members make little groups where local women take part and get training over different things like vocational training, training to make handicrafts, pickle making, chips making, etc. In this program, we have tied up with the local administration to provide SHG training to the female members.

Help to Grow Forest

The environment has an important role in our life, we are trying to save the environment by arranging different actions. Tree Plantation is the only way to get back the lost forest of our country. As a social human being, we try to save both the environment & forest by arranging programs like tree plantation, river cleaning, etc. It is a small start from the end of us to make the world a better place to live; we gather local children and youth to work with us.

Cloth Distribution

We, the members of CRDS distribute garments and woolen clothes to the poor and destitute people. The members of our society arrange cloth distribution camps every year with the help of local business owners to provide clothes to needy children and homeless people. Every year we also distribute saree to women who work as a maid on special occasions like Durga puja or Eid.

Medicine Distribution

The members of CRDS organize medical distribution camps with the help of local doctors for the tribal community people. The rural areas of Dimapur don’t have the facility of a good healthcare center or service. There are a few medicine shops that deliver specific medicines; patients often die due to the lack of right medicine. We set up a mobile medicine center to provide medicines to the poor.
